Healing in the Space Between: Spiritual Ecology and Collective Trauma

In the last decade, the biggest movement in healing in the west has been toward resolution and awakening in the social space. We will touch on how to unwind the meta-stories of individual achievement (and individualized pathology), the limits of one-on-one healing and the vast potential and promise in the social nervous system. We will talk about inviting a prescientific understanding of our place in nature (aka spiritual ecology) to complement the atomized scientific mindset, and the untapped potential it holds for an avalanche of awakening. She will talk about the experiment at Sundari Gardens on Hawaii, the New Earth Leadership paradigm, and lessons in social healing drawn from her experience in California’s prisons and in the women’s sexuality space.

Christine is a qualitative futurist, asking where do we go next in our psycho-emotional and spiritual lives that will make a more coherent, congruent and whole world for everyone. She writes on leading from peace and power, spiritual ecology, consciousness, yoga and waking up to our true nature. Her books include Indivisible, Bending the Bow, The Invitation, Love in the Face of Everything, Twisted and The Nine Gifts. She’s the founder and CEO of Rosebud Woman, an intimate wellness line that invites a new conversation about women and sexual and body shame. She hosts the rose woman podcast each week. Her prior work as a tech CEO and technology futurist has given way to a more organic look at the future of our species: we have amazing technologies, but in the unloving and divisive hearts and hands they pose more risk than promise.
